Derryk Madsen

Derryk Madsen is a Managing Director and Head of Business Development for Vesticor Advisors. He has more than 20 years of experience in Financial Services, Capital Markets, and Business Development. The majority of his time has been spent helping mid-to-large sized Asset Management firms raise capital through both public and private offerings.

Prior to joining Vesticor, Mr. Madsen held senior management positions at Guggenheim Investments, Salient Partners & Advisors Asset Management. His broad experience in Distribution and Relationship Management brings a diverse skillset that helps with both cultivating relationships for transactions, and also understanding valuation and growth potential for Vesticor’s buy and sell-side clients.

Early in his career, Mr. Madsen was an owner and operator in the high-end Food and Beverage industry in both Chicago and New York. He received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from DePaul University and is the President of the Foundation Board of the College of DuPage. He holds the Series 7, 66 and 24 FINRA licenses. He enjoys cooking, photography, and spending time with his wife, and two boys.
